The Heart of Stouffville’s Muslim Community
Darul Khair Center (DKC) was established to serve the spiritual and social needs of the growing Muslim population in Stouffville. Our journey began humbly in 2008, with brothers gathering in a home for weekly congregation. By Ramadan 2009, the dedication of our early members allowed us to rent a space on Main Street, officially establishing DKC to welcome newcomers to our quiet suburb.
Today, we have grown to over 150 families, offering daily prayers, Islamic education, and community events. We are currently working toward constructing the first permanent Islamic Center in Stouffville, designed to include prayer halls, a youth gym, and spaces for our seniors, ensuring a lasting foundation for generations to come

Our Mission
We aim to attain the pleasure of Allah (SWT) by embracing the commandments of Islam and practices of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) in our daily life. This could be achieved through proper knowledge of Islam.
Our Centre (Musalla)
The property purchased in 2017 is located at unit 36, 86 Ringwood Drive, Stouffville, Ontario. The new unit has two separate entrances. In 2019 adjacent unit 34 was purchased to add more space. Alhamdulillah, these two units facilitate all families living in Stouffville and vicinity for their religious, educational and community needs.
A Vision for Generations: Expanding the Darul Khair Center
To meet the religious needs of the increasing number of Muslim families moving to Stouffville, we have purchased a property to establish the town’s first dedicated Islamic Center. As our community grows, so does our need for a larger facility. The new center will feature 6,100 sq. ft. of building space on a 26,000 sq. ft. lot with ample parking. Once established, Darul Khair Center will be the first and largest Islamic Center in Stouffville, offering immense potential for our future
